Moving through the wave of the 5 Rhythms helps us shift and move into a different frame of mind as well as keeping physically fit, curious and creative.
A movement practice with no steps to learn, 5 Rhythms is suitable for people of different ages and levels of fitness. This practice was devised by Gabrielle Roth, theatre director , trailblazer and author of Maps to Ecstasy, Sweat Your Prayers and Connections.
I was apprenticed to Gabrielle Roth who called me Ravensister - she always encouraged me to value my own dance as a teacher, to demonstrate, dance with the group and continue to embody the practice with clarity and energy.
